Privacy notice.
What I collect, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Last updated 15 October 2026.
Who I am
This site is run by ARDA DEMIRTAS LTD, trading as Cut & Copy, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 16422789), registered office Suite 9059, 5 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG. I'm the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].
What I collect
- When you request a teardown or email me: your name, email address, brand name, website, social links and anything else you choose to send.
- When you book a call: the details you give the booking tool.
- If I contacted you first: business contact details from public sources such as your website, Companies House or your brand's social profiles.
- When you visit the site: anonymous, cookie-free visit statistics. This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why I use it
To reply to you, prepare your teardown, deliver work you've ordered, and follow up about my services. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in running and promoting the business, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. You can object to marketing at any time, and I'll stop.
Who I share it with
Only the service providers who help run the business: Google Workspace (email), Cloudflare (hosting and statistics), Tally (forms), my booking tool, Loom and YouTube (video, which only load when you press play), Google Fonts (typefaces) and Stripe (payments). I work remotely and some providers are based outside the UK, so your data may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, I rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
How long I keep it
Enquiries and prospect details for up to two years after we last spoke. Client and invoice records for six years, because UK tax law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask me to correct it, delete it, restrict how it's used or stop using it for marketing. Email me and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
